      Nope, incorrect. As someone who had their first account banned at around level 88/89, turning enemy comms off is enough in general, to not get tilted by emotes, mastery flashing or trashtalking. If someone from your own team happens to flame you, you can just mute them and then report them after the game. You're missing out on a lot of good communication if you completely close yourself off of every type of communication, because pings aren't always going to assure that you or the other players know how to properly react to them. Again, if someone flames you, just mute them immediately. There are still good teammates in every elo and rank who are not willing to use the chat for toxic purposes.

    • @brandonbeck6730
      @brandonbeck6730 Год назад +3

      well hwei is an artillery mage, I would say spacing on him is difficult but treat his general threat range like a lux. his qq, qe, eq, ew, ee, and r are about the same range as lux q and e. only his qw has insane range (its like trying to space a full charged xerath q or ziggs q). For hwei i would track his spellbooks. yes he has 9 total base spells, but its more like 3,3, and 3. He can only use one spell from each book before it goes on cd (one q, one w, one e). so if you see him throw out qe on the wave, you know that if you trade he can't qq you which is the bulk of his damage, or he cant qw if you're low. Another example is if he throws out a ew to try and root you in wave or a ee to set up a combo and misses then you can trade really easily because his e spellbook is on cd and so he has no cc to outrade you.
      as for shmolder, his q is abt the same range as his autos, that the only ability you have to look out for.

    You can just know your kill threshhold by looking at your damage and your opponents HP + resistances.
    The reason people think you can't is because they think the math is too hard.
    But that's because they focus on the wrong thing.
    They try and calculate how much damage they would do to a champion based on their armor.
    And that is a ridiculous way to look at it and I agree that this is practically impossible to calculate.
    But if you know that your combo's raw numbers add up to 2000.
    You will always do 2000 raw damage to your opponent.
    But instead of calculating how much damage you will do to the opponent, calculate how much of your damage they can take instead.
    The formula of determining this is extremely easy to do on the fly and doesn't have to be exact in most cases, so a guess tends to be fine enough.
    You take a champion's actual health pool, for example 1500 HP.
    And then you look at how much armor they have, for example 50.
    And then you multiply 1500 by (1 +(armor value/100)).
    So 1500 * 1.50
    This totals to 2250.
    So you know, that if nothing is healed or shielded, that you need about ~10% of the target's health already gone before you have it in kill-range.
    If your target has 100 armor instead, you change the formula to 1500 * 2
    If they have 125 armor it becomes 1500 * 2.25
    And so on.
    So if you see an opponent once and you have some downtime, you can make a mental note of how when you can take out who in a single rotation.
    And every time you shop, you adjust what your damage is and you do some rough math.
    This is doable, at least for your direct lane opponent or mid-game targets.
    Doing these calculations for your target once every time you shop will drastically increase the amount of kill windows you spot, will drastically decrease the mistakes that were not kill windows and is not that difficult if you are capable of doing relatively simple math in your head (or even on a calculator-app if you really need to).
    You don't need to do the math in a high pressure situation, of course. But a champion's values don't change THAT much in between bases, so once you see them, if you can do so while walking somewhere, or waiting for a last hit, just do the math.
    Your damage is stuff you can figure out by adding up the numbers on the abilities and your total ad * number of autos in your combo.
    You should have some references at least.
    For example, if you're a mid lane mage, how much is your full combo if you are lvl6, what about at lvl9 and 13?
    What damage does 100 AP mean?
    I wish you all the best of luck.

      Is this the reason why I’m hardstuck gold?

    • @vincentvindevogel2368
      @vincentvindevogel2368 Год назад +4

      @@Jammox probably not, it likely has mostly to do with tempo and your position on the map.

    • @vincentvindevogel2368
      @vincentvindevogel2368 Год назад +2

      @@Jammox just to clarify, I didn't mean the previous comment as an insult. This tends to be the biggest gap between players in gold and diamond.
      Most gold players can land a skillshot or execute relatively similar in teamfights.
      It's mostly the way they move around fhe map that changes.

    • @matte9076
      @matte9076 Год назад +2

      yeah no, 1. I'm not that good at math, two, your using easy numbers.
      people rarely have 1500 or 1000 straight health, and multipliers can be different than just an easy 1x or 1.5x
      I appreciate what your trying to do with your advice but it's not practical and I'm never fucking doing that mid game

    • @vincentvindevogel2368
      @vincentvindevogel2368 Год назад +5

      @matte9076 well, as I said during the original claim, you don't actually have to be all too accurate.
      As long as you have a general knowledge of what the numbers are ~about you can apply the logic.
      Sure, your combo might do EXACTLY 973 dmg, but you might as well use 1000 dmg as your damage.
      And your opponent might have EXACTLY 1643 hp and 62 armor.
      But you might as well just use 1750 and 50.
      Your numbers will be slightly off.
      But you will recognize that you need them to be ~about 10% or 25% chunked or they need to be already half hp.
      Then the math becomes relatively easy.
      That is the purpose of it.
      Not the exact math.
      That's what I meant.
      And what do you mean that the multiplier isn't always exactly 1 or 1.5?
      I don't follow what you're referring to here.
      Please elaborate

    and here i am a main jungler, tracking the enemy jungler, pinging people to back off due to gank beeing imminent and my team initiate a fight

    • @brandonbeck6730
      @brandonbeck6730 Год назад +1

      as a mid laner i understand the pain of pinging a kata roam and my botlane not respecting it and dying. Even if they go even and my adc gets two kills while their's gets 1, kata also got one so now im behind. IMO, turning to fight is damage control, if youre getting ganked, your team as a whole will be behind so you are simply trying to mitigate your losses. the only way i can see it being a net possitive for the team getting ganked is if the ADC gets both kills, while the enemy sup gets one or two of the kills. That way your ADC is ahead, the mid laner/jg gets nothing and the sup gets the gold which doesnt matter
